Massage Therapy is not a substitute for professional medical care or treatment. We cannot prescribe, cure, or diagnose any conditions. It is up to you, the client, to keep the massage therapist up to date on any changes to your medical history. You have the right to terminate the treatment at any time should you feel inclined to do so. Our Privacy Policy is available here.

Client safety, confidentiality, and privacy are our top priorities. A health intake form is required before a massage service to ensure a safe and effective treatment. Inappropriate behavior or suggestive remarks will terminate your appointment immediately and may result in criminal proceedings.

As of Jan 1st, 2023, KY sales tax is added to the total cost of services per Kentucky Revised Statutes Chapter 139

Cancellations/Late Arrivals

We require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule your appointment. You may do so using the “Manage My Appointment” option in any confirmation or reminder email from The Rustic Remedy, or by calling or texting (859) 740-0607.

Please understand that last-minute cancellations are difficult to accommodate and have a significant impact on small businesses. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged 50% of the scheduled service cost to the credit card, gift certificate, or pass package on file. If you choose to No Call/No Show, you will be charged the full service cost to the credit card, gift certificate, or package on file.

Clients with a history of late cancellations or missed appointments may be required to provide non-refundable prepayment to reserve future appointments.

We understand that unexpected situations arise. If you’re running late, we’ll do our best to accommodate you; however, your session time may be adjusted accordingly to respect the next client’s appointment.

Gift Certificates

***Per the Credit Card Accountability Responsibility and Disclosure Act of 2009, Gift Certificates are valid for 5 years from issuance. All gift certificate sales are final, non-refundable, and only redeemable during the time of service. Promotional gift certificates cannot be combined with other promotions or discounts. Gift certificates may be used to purchase services and products, and may not be used to purchase prepaid packages or memberships.

Missed appointments due to no-shows or late cancellations (less than 24 hours' notice) may result in a fee deducted from the gift certificate balance.

Pass Packages

Pass packages must be used within one year (365 days). Pass packages are only linked to one individual client and cannot be shared. No-show and cancellation policies apply.

Minors

Clients under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, who will co-sign the New Client Consultation Form and Minor Release Form.
For clients under 13, or at any client's or parent's request, a parent or guardian must remain in the room for the entire treatment.
For clients 13–17, a parent or guardian must remain on the premises for the duration of the appointment.
